This is an important talk about how A (art) is often forgotten when people talk about the core subjects of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics that often provide a gateway to higher level jobs. Art may not necessarrily have a reputation for higher level jobs, but people who are creative often make the most difference. There are a lot of CEOs who have high levels of creativity. Working in a printing & copy shop with plenty of walk-in business has it’s ups and downs. But when the downs turn into a hilarious letter you can post on the internet—it can make your day.

Below is a letter that a customer demanded we typeset for him regardless of the grammatical errors. Man, am I glad we did. Enjoy.

My brother and I will be riding motorcycles from San Diego, CA to Portsmouth, NH from June 10th to July 4th. I haven’t been this excited about a trip in a long long time. It has taken almost a year of saving paid time off, planning, and crossing milestones to reach this point and the anticipation is preventing me from seriously concentrating on anything else. There are more posts to come, but for now I’ll leave you with the planned route. The map cuts off around long island before we take a ferry to New London, but it should give you a good idea of our route.
